Discipline
School Almanac
- Identity cards must be worn to school on all days.
- The school almanac must be brought to the school every day.
- All entries in the almanac from the school must be shown to parents and entries made by the parents to be brought to the notice of the relevant school staff.
Behavior
- The School aims at behavioral elegance and the inculcation of discipline individually and in groups, while in school premises functions as well as during the organized trips.
- Irregular attendance, neglect of homework, disobedience or disrespect towards staff or bad moral influence would lead to strict disciplinary action.
- Any damage to school property will be made good by the offending student (s) and would entail disciplinary action.
- Classrooms would be locked when not in use. The entire class would be responsible for any damage to class property.
- Sanjivani International School students should display polite behaviour wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.
- Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
- Students should greet their teachers when they meet them.
- Students are strictly prohibited from entering the school in civil dress unless it is instructed.
Punctuality
All students must be present in school 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The school gate will close at 0900 hrs. After three reminders late arrivals will be sent back home.
Attendance
- Regular attendance to school is most essential. The minimum requirement of attendance in the academic year is 90%.
- Leave of absence is to be given to the students on prior application from the parents.
- All leave applications are to be submitted on separate sheets of paper for the class teacher’s record.
- Students absent on account of illness are to submit valid medical certificates.
- Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.
- Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than seven consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission will be granted only on payment of fresh admission fee.
- Appointment with Doctors or any social engagements must not be arranged during school hours. No partial attendance will be permitted.

- Republic Day
- First and Last working days before and after term breaks.
- Annual Day, Sports Day and Investiture Ceremony
- Examination Days
- Any other event on the discretion of Principal
